I used Femme Fatale Cosmetics in Faerie Fire and The Nightmare.  I LOVE the way the lime green sparks in Faerie Fire pair with the green sheen in The Nightmare!

Halloween Swap!

One of the makeup groups I am in did a Halloween themed swap.  This was the package I received :

I love it all!  The HUGE black spider is currently hanging on my office door, and I can't wait for a reason to wear the little red horn barrettes!  The eyeshadows are Sexualis, Sacred, Consume and Dwarf Star from Detrivore Cosmetics, and Dinosaur Plushie, Kuisumasu, Wicked and Tapir from Fyrinnae.  There are also 3 mini Lip Lustres from Fyrinnae in different shades of red, along with a red and black lipstick from NYC.

I love participating in swaps, it's fun to shop for others, and receive surprise gifts in the mail!

Thoughts : The Nightmare has a gorgeous duochrome!  The green glimmer in the right light is perfect!

- Faerie Fire is so pretty and feminine, the sparks make it unique.

- Super happy with my purchase (I also bought some others for a swap, and she loved the colors she received too!)

Why Blog?

Blogging is fun because I enjoy being able to keep track of what I own, the looks I like, and everything beauty related. For this reason, I follow a bunch of blogs. It's always great when they have contests! Sharon at Hello There, Blondie held a contest a few months ago, and I was lucky enough to win! Here's the prize:

I love glitter polishes, and these are great because they dry super fast. I haven't tried the Floam yet, but it's on the list!

Makeup Your Face Nail Polish!

This is Fall Into Autumn.  I used 2 coats for these photos, but have found I like the total opaqueness that 3 coats provides.  This polish is gorgeous, and only cost $8.00.  It wears well, with minimal tip wear.  You need a top coat to even it out, but that's typical for chunky polishes.  I highly reccomend this, and plan to buy some more polishes soon!

Catching up

I haven't been posting a lot because sometimes life gets busy.  I have taken a lot of photos lately, so I'm going to do some catch up posts, with looks of the day, nails, new fragrances and some random things thrown in.  Let's start with the Michigan Renaissance Festival!  My friend and I drove up to Michigan to attend with my mom.  It's always a fun time, and is held every weekend for a couple of months each year.  I suggest attending if you live anywhere close!

Thoughts: Violet Coral is gorgeous, I love the duochrome it has!

- I like the texture of the gel lipsticks, they werent drying at all, which is why I am picky about my lippies.

- I really like Glowing Crimson as well, and the way it glitters.

- I purchased some of these during a sale, and it was a great deal!  This is my first go at Morgana lippies, and I will definitely be purchasing more!

Thoughts: The packaging is so cute!  I really liked the glittery labels, it isnt something you see all the time.
- The jars were full, and I appreciate being able to choose with/without sifter.
- The colors are gorgeous!  I'm really excited about Lavish Lollipops, and think it's that perfect color to use alone for a soft look.
- I'm going to do a look using Champagne Bath and Lavish Lollipops this weekend, because look at them next to each, theyre made for each other!
