Mellow Yellow Challenge

The weekly challenge in Never Too Much Sparkle this week is 'Mellow Yellow'.  I have been on a huge yellow kick lately, and here is what I came up with!

I also used  Lorac's Take A Brow kit in Brunette on my brows, Maybelline's EyeStudio gel liner in Blackest Black, and Covergirl Lash Blast Length on my lashes. 
I love a thick liner with yellow, I wouldnt normally use it.

Thoughts : This arrived in a stacker, and will travel easily.
- All of the colors make great highlights, and I like the neutral look created using all of them.
- Purchasing is through fb, which is annoying, but Kim offers amazing sales, like half off, that make it worthwhile.
- I will order again, many new colors and collections have been coming out recently.

Virus Insanity Eyeshadow

Thoughts : Purchasing through fb is a little annoying, I would prefer a site to order from.
 - Huge variety of colors, offers deals and random packs.
- recently began offering Anti Virus Lip Glosses, such as Soul Mate.  The flavors are intense, and so are the colors!
- I will order again, once I decide on what colors I need from the HUGE selection!

Thoughts : Midsummer Night was the color I had to have, and I'm glad I purchased it. 
- Although not pictured, their Infinity Eye Shadow Base is what I use daily.  I only use NYX to swatch.  The IESB is offered in white and black, and is much less greasy than NYX.
- The random no name is such a pretty shade of blue!

Rockeresque Beauty Company (again)

Thoughts : A little pricey, but some of the colors are just must-haves for me.
- I originally received Broken Teeth as a sample, and just had to purchase the full size.  I use it often, and think it pairs amazingly well with yellows.
- I appreciate how smooth and pigmented the colors are.  It makes them so easy to apply.

Rag Dolls Bath and Beauty (again)

- Proceeds from Boobielicious went towards breat cancer research.

RockABetty Beauty

Thoughts : Everything but Changeling, Cupcake Not a Muffin and the Gel Blush were purchased last year during a huge sale when formulations were being changed.
- Amazing variety of colors.
- I love the gel blush, it works as a nice highlight on my cheeks.
- The colors in the first photo, and Divarty, are my favorites. 
- I will order from this company again.

Prism Pigment Shadows

Thoughts : I love this company, and the owner.  Although some changes have occurred, the site should be up again next week.
- All colors are listed on the fb page, which is very active.
- Will make custom colors, sending you photos along the way to make sure it is exactly what you request.
- Desiree, Unicorn and Disco Ball are turning into my go-to highlights.
- Rollin on 22's and Pimp Cup make for a great smokey eye.

My Pretty Zombie (again)

Thoughts : I have wanted to purchse these forever, and finally bit the bullet.
- I love all 3, but am especially fond of mNg 2 because of its gold shift.
- There are still a few colors I want, and I will be ordering again.

MOI Cosmetics

Thoughts : All of these, along with other things, were purchased during sales on the fb page.
- I like the colors, shipping was OK and so was packaging.  I did not receive one of the things I purchased, and it was immediately sent out to me.
- I love the brushes and mineral veils I bought.

Killa Monroe

Thoughts : I won these in a contest on fb, so free is always good!
- Packaging was nice, and shipping was fast for a contest.
- Baby Vamp and Turqua are nice colors, but I had issues with Toxic.  It doesn't apply smoothly, and I tried to use it for a look and it killed it.  Toxic is just glitter, and I wouldnt recommend it, but the other colors were all smooth and well pigmented.

Facebomb Cosmetics (again)

Thoughts : I know the colors had names, but they did not come labeled.
- Packaging was cute, they were in a coffin, but it was advertised they would also come with a small Simply Sweet Skin fragrance, and I only received a small Bath and Body Works hand sanitizer.  It was disappointing.
- The green, white and orange are really pretty.

Dark Heart Designs (again)

Thoughts : I really like the Eye Lights Gel Liners, and love that they come in a variety of colors.
- I purchased all of these during a sale around the holidays.

Dawn Eyes Cosmetics

Thoughts : I LOVE this company!  I have ordered multiple times, and she offers great sales and free shipping on purchases over $10 in the US.
- Chocolate Kisses and Spiced Cider have an amazing duochrome, and look great alone.
- Her site is difficult to manage, and it can be overwhelming at times.
- Shipping is fast, and she responds to questions quickly.
- Active on fb.

Brazen Cosmetics

Thoughts : Love this company!
- I bought grab bags, and ended up with cute products! 
- I also received some lip glosses, which I love but did not swatch!
- The color selection is varied, and the prices are fair.
- Courtesan is one of my favorite colors.

Bokeh Face

Thoughts : My thoughts on this company are in a previous post.  These colors look beautiful over PE, but did not swatch well alone or over NYX White.  Its too bad this company is no longer around.
